A few thoughts.

I didn’t start this fire. It was always burning. That’s a lie. I started this fire. That’s a lie.

It is difficult — everything that is worth doing well. At least it is difficult for me. But then, would I want it easy? No, I would not. At the same time, I would love it easier, you know.

My friend, Hope, battled uterine cancer, successfully; finished her chemo, had good numbers, and then a mass was discovered in her brain. Inoperable. Now the doctors are saying she probably won’t live to see this same time next year. Live with that.
