I can relate on several counts. I live in Colorado, with the mountains always on the western horizon — I love “my” Rocky Mountains. And I had to cancel a trip to Scotland, only postponed, hopefully, for a year and a half. But I am so jealous of your rain! It rained a day ago here. And two weeks ago. That’s pretty much our rainy season. Luckily, we xeriscape our front lawn last year — we shall no longer “waste” water on useless grass.
