Haiku about haiku.
This one goes out to Rusty Alderson, because this was one of his challenges — use haiku style to describe haiku. Poetry is not my strength, but I don’t want to pass this challenge up. Here goes:
Haiku is a game,
To play, the rules are counting
Down then up then down.
Nature be the queen
Most haiku is about her,
Dragonflies and bees.
How dare I write it?
Five and seven and five. Math!
I am not worthy.
But I must accept
Challenge that was brought to me
To write haiku now.
