My fantastic journalism teacher, Mr. Pearson, used to say, “Unless you love to write, unless you have an almost biological need to write, you’re in the wrong business.”
Well, the print newspapers are dying now, everything is getting digital, and even a Luddite like me is finding herself on the InterWebs, just to write, to write, to write.
So I understand this of which you speak. I am picking up what you are putting down. I dig it. “Write or die,” echoes in me. “A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.” -? (Forgot who said that.)
